lmao no. my sister and i used to speak it we've completely forgotten the language. my mom and dad can still speak it but obvs there's like no time/place for them to do so here. my brothers don't know urdu at all

i don't think naalat is a word farsi speakers use, we say "sharm" so does "laanat" mean the same thing? bc as far as i can tell from my dad padarnaalat=padarlaanat and it just varies by region who says what?

yeah!! We (as in me and my siblings) alternate between naalat and laanat, my dad says the former and my mom says the later.

And we say sharm too in pashto, but of course i'm sure there's a lot of crossover. (sharm di waka=have some shame?)
