It was in the late 1960's when Bob Carnes began developing his first Bass Jig. Looking to create a jig to tackle the rugged environment of many of the newly flooded impoundments of the Ozarks. He specifically designed the jig to stand up and have the ability to go through the thickest Cedar trees. It took him two years to perfect the mold on Arkie's Original Bucktail Bass Jig. Made with a heavy wire hook and a fiber weedguard and hand tied with real Bucktail. A true "Original" still available today in 3 sizes and 15 time tested colors.
