I don’t know if this has been said before, but I don’t buy into the theory that Connie will suddenly betray someone who she’s called “her only friend” simply because she has diamonds in her eyes.

Here’s why:

this type of eye sparkle is kinda common and has been used before.

I think it’s just a way of differentiating Connie and Steven’s “sparkle eyes” in this one and the first image. The reason it looks more diamond-like is probably due to the artist’s style. That’s just my speculation though.

So yeah, I don’t think there’s any significance, but it’s okay if you do. I could always end up being wrong. Although I see no reason for Connie to ever betray Steven to join the Diamonds.

Realizing that if the Exterminations happen during New Years and how Adam changed it to six months to speed up the process, it would be sometime in June. Season 2 takes place about one month after, from this line:

That would mean it takes place during July.

During late October to early November, deer rut season begins. So from all that, Alastor can't be in deer rut in season 2.
