A Look Inside :) This is step one: Drawing. I’ll be using this beauty to create a surface pattern design. Patterns have always been a part of life since I was a little kid, and it’s an absolute joy to create them. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

Day 2 of #ThePatternChallenge ( this pattern challenge is hosted by the wonderful surface designer @bonniechristine ). As I promised you, here is my work in progress after the second day. Today I have chosen a color palette inspired by some of my recently taken photos in nature, in the Catfish Conservation Area. Then I applied some of the chosen colors on my elements. For the moment the leaves are randomly placed on my Artboard. They are not yet organized in a repeating pattern. It is just a research for a general feel. We will see how it evolves 😉.
