The Perception of Moving Targets

The NW Film Center's 40th Northwest Filmmakers' Festival

Wednesday, November 13th 2013, 8:30pm, Whitsell Auditorium at the Portland Art Museum

This film, directed by Weston Currie and with music by Grouper/Liz Harris, was included at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival as a New Frontier selection. It screened alongside live accompaniment once at the Hollywood Theater in Portland, OR, presented by Nationale, and once as part of the Nuit Blanche arts festival in Greenpoint, NYC.

Haunting is easily the most apt word to describe the film's visual narrative and Liz's sounds. It is a real treat to have the chance to experience this again.

Films I’m Looking Forward To Seeing No.2 - The Perception Of Moving Targets

I might just be completely taken in by this trailer and in particular the amazing soundtrack courtesy of Grouper, but this does look like quite an interesting, dark and claustrophobic piece of work.
