I absolutely love the vibe here. And I'm all over this simplistic interior! Fresh. Bright. Clean. Perfect. It's a relatively medium-ish space (oh my vocab is so extensive, right?) that's comfortable for any occasion. I devoured the Van Damme waffles - oh my freaking sugar man, absolutely DELISH! The salted caramel popcorn, vanilla parfait and strawberries - oh pls let me have this everyday. Despite the obvious phatness it may cause, life is all about enjoying yourself, right? Huxtaburger.

Trying out the new Glenferrie Road store (right near YoChi), I chowed down the “Huxtaburger” (crunchy pickles were the highlight) while M devoured “Clair”. Even though I wasn’t too pleased how much he enjoyed another girl (lol), the Southern Fried Chicken was impressive. And, yes, I’ll give it to the Huxta boys, they bring the boys to the yard with their milkshakes. As for the fit out, the new store is quite a looker. Simple but fresh with the (fake) leaves entwined in the roof piping. Adds a nice touch, making it different from it’s flagship Smith Street store. All in all, I was impressed with my seedy hangover feed this afternoon. Good burgers, boys, keep it up.
