Close one today, caught some funky snow mid couloir and barely corrected before having to air over the rock at the bottom. Luckily worked out but still pretty scary. Wasn't til I watched the footage that I saw how far I got thrown off on to one ski. Lost lifty air in the Jackson hole backcountry. This line is visible from the resort just outside the boundary. You have to ski a scary hanging snowfield above the air that if it avalanches, you will be swept off the cliff. Even during this air, so much snow came down with me I could barely see the take off, luckily I spotted my exit point before it was covered and worked out as planned.
