Man, was he irritated. It was hot outside, and he left his wallet at home. Not to mention a companion of his from school practically dragged him out to the park, then morbidly ditched him because of his little sister. Now he was stranded and was not going to walk home in this heat.

He had called his uncle a few times, and his brother, but both failed to pick up and that only furthered his irritated tone.

A sigh crossed his lips as he lay back on the grass, unable to do anything but pray there was going to be some kind of cloud strolling by later.

Did he also mention the shadows of the many people in this park did not help? Probably tens of twenties of people hanging around here, and not one really supplied him with a good amount of shade.
