Fears/Death
People always ask what someone’s biggest fear is For most, it’s something like heights, planes, spiders, snakes For me, it’s losing people, falling deeper into my depression, confronting my family on how awful they make me feel
But I’m not afraid of dying Isn’t that the funny thing? If I were told I would die tomorrow, I’d embrace it
I would welcome death with open arms Death would set me free Set everyone else free of my burdens
Death is a normal part of life People are born to die That is the natural cycle of all life
So, while I fear losing the people I love, I do not fear them losing me While I fear falling back into those bleak ways of mine, I do not fear the one thing that consumes those thoughts While I fear confronting those that have hurt me, it soon won’t matter
Everything and everyone will soon turn to dust Everything eventually ends So why should I care for or have fear of death?
