Spyro: random sketch #1 by Falysyu123
I haven’t done a traditional drawing on paper for the past month. I thought of drawing Spyro as practice to make sure I still have my skills with me. Enjoy!

Who else cries their eyes out at the end of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of The Dragon? Just me? Oh... Okay xD
Yellow. :)
Thank you for the question darling <3 Sorry for the late response, I’ve been at the cinema… Guardians of the Galaxy <3
Yellow: 7 facts about my childhood
1.) I’ve been a very weak and sick child.2.) Outside was the most fun, but I loved watching Nick in the evening (Invader Ziiiiiiim)3.) I’ve had a total of 2 best childhood friends, one after the other.4.) When teens would laugh at my sister I always got really angry but hardly really defended us because I was not crazy. But I imagined punching them in the mouth.5.) My sister was one of my rolemodels (she was strooonger) but I was also very jealous.6.) My love for maths and drawing both surfaced really, really early.7.) I grew up with Sailor Moon, Detective Conan, One Piece, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha and Bayblade <3
Hannibal/Clarice. :)
Thank youuuuuuu Lane, you’re the best. =D This revealed a lot of headcanons that I didn’t know I had, actually. I could have gone on much more about any one of these, but this is the shorter version.
who is more dominant in the bedroom?: Honestly I think they switch from time to time, but I’d say that Clarice is more consistently aggressive once she knows what she likes.
who complains the most?: Hannibal, definitely. In a totally polite, eloquent, and roundabout manner, of course, but he’s definitely more particular about things than Clarice is. Most of the time she’s amused by it and smooths the situation as best she can.
who’s the laziest?: I’d say Clarice. Neither one of them could be considered lazy, but now that Clarice is happy with herself I can imagine her taking some time to lounge about and indulge.
who wakes up the earliest?: I think Hannibal would most of the time. I always imagined that he kept strange hours sometimes though, so occasionally Clarice will get up for a run while he’s still sleeping. They’re both early risers.
who does the chores around the house?: Hannibal, definitely. Clarice helps, but Hannibal, as I mentioned, is particular. Also I think once they settled down, they’d probably hire someone to do most of the major chores- except the ones in their bedroom and in the kitchen. They each take care of their own stuff in the bedroom, and Hannibal still does 95% of the cooking. Clarice will sometimes just watch him work, and he likes to have her taste test throughout the process and will occasionally explain why certain ingredients go together and what flavor a particular thing is, etc. Once in a while though Clarice kicks him out of the kitchen and makes something from her childhood, which he invariably dislikes- but he at least tries it, for her sake.
who is the most protective of the other?: Oh man. I think they tie on this one. They would both be fiercely protective of one another, and wouldn’t hesitate to do whatever is necessary to keep the other safe.
who gets jealous the easiest?: Hannibal, definitely. It doesn’t happen often, since they’re both pretty secure in their love for one another. But I’d imagine that sometimes he gets a flash of jealousy when he sees Clarice talking to another man at the bar as she waits for him to arrive for dinner (which also doesn’t happen very often). Clarice, though, is never jealous. After all, she knows he’s always loved her.
and a song or group of songs that describes the ship: Ummm this one is difficult for me. I always associate Heavy in Your Arms and other Florence and the Machine songs like Cosmic Love with the beginning of their relationship- like Hannibal era. But later on? When they’re living together and happy and content? Maybe Blood by The Pierces. Other than that I’m not sure.
Fandom: Hannibal (books/movies/TV show) and Black Sunday (because now you can!). Feel free to either combine the two or do them individually - whichever way you prefer! Looking forwards to your answers! :)
Omg Lane I love you. I think I’ll combine them because let’s be real, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be baking cupcakes for Michael or Dahlia. xD
1. bake cupcakes for: Clarice Starling. Girl needs some cupcakes. 2. trust with the keys to my car: Michael. Assuming he doesn’t run into his ex wife, I think he’d return it in meticulous condition. 3. put thumbtacks on the chair thereof: Fasil. Lots and lots of large thumbtacks. 4. have a crush on: Hannibal Lecter. If you know me you weren’t expecting anything else. 5. pack up and leave if they moved next door: Book/movie Chilton. He’d be the kind of neighbor that measures how tall your grass is and then bitches if it’s too long. 6. vote for President: Uh. I really don’t trust any of these crazies with a country, much as I love them. I’ll go with Ardelia. She’s level headed and she’d get shit done. 7. pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Dahlia. It’d be less of a buddy movie and more of a badass movie but ya know. 8. pair up: David and Rachel. I wish they had more time together. 9. vote off the island and into the volcano: Paul Krender. Yes. 10. wheedle into fixing my MP3 player: Brian Zeller, show version. He seems susceptible to wheedling. ;D
Sorry this took so long, my dear. We should absolutely Skype soon, I miss your face!
Fandom: Hannibal. (Refer to the TV show exclusively, if you must. But I'd love to hear your answers based on the entire book series.)
THANK YOU for the caveat, Lane! What I ended up doing is combining the books/movies/TV show where plausible, and separating my answers out when it wasn’t. I hope it all makes sense. =) This also ended up being novel ish length, so questions are italicized and important things are bolded.
1. The first character I fell in love with: Hannibal. Doesn’t matter if it’s the book, the movies, or the TV show. Hannibal has been and always will be the point of the story for me, the reason I get so involved, everything. It’s kind of problematic at this point, actually. People tend to look at you funny when you’re so obsessed with a cannibalistic serial killer. Fair warning, he’s going to be the answer to a lot of these.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Actually, believe it or not, Clarice. When I first read/watched, I was so focused on Hannibal that I didn’t really have any attention left over for Clarice. And ( hugely unpopular opinion approaching) I really kind of hated Jodie Foster’s Clarice. She always seemed terrified/on the verge of tears to me, and she really just bugged me. But through rereading the books and discussing them with tons of lovely people at the Studiolo (you should go check them out. DO IT. Studiolo ), I really came to appreciate her as a beautiful, strong character. I adore her now.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: This is particularly pertaining to the show right now. Will Graham. In the books, I respected him- and I still sort of do now- but I do not and did not like him, much less love him. Whereas everyone (like you’re supposed to) views Hannibal as Will’s villain, I view Will as Hannibal’s opponent. And I still don’t view him as Hannibal’s equal. I never will. He is uniquely talented, and Hannibal’s ego got in his way. But I have never viewed anyone as Hannibal’s equal in terms of opponents.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I actually don’t have one of these for the books, and only sort of one for the TV show. Again, I don’t follow people that reblog/post hate all the time, so I don’t really know who the fandom hates. But I do know that a lot of people are angry at Hannibal for messing with Will, so that’s the best I’ve got here.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: I also don’t have one of these from the books. I formed my basic opinions of the characters on my first read through, and no new material has appeared to really change them. Even with Clarice- I always liked her in the books, it was just a matter of magnitude. As for the show… it hasn’t really been on long enough for me to truly fall out of love with any of the characters, but I might fall out of love with Dr. du Maurier. I really hope I don’t, but I liked her much better when I thought she knew or at least suspected Hannibal’s actions. Bryan Fuller, however, has said she doesn’t, so now I definitely don’t like her as much. I’m hoping Bryan finds a way to rectify this in the next season.
6. The character I would totally smooch: Hannibal. Cannibal or not, the man is ridiculously attractive and pushes like 95 out of my 100 buttons. Intelligent, quick witted, classically educated, strong, well spoken, well mannered, likes to cook, dominant… clearly I could go on. Besides the cannibal thing, like two of my unpushed buttons actually have to do with his physical book appearance. I like my men taller and broad, where he’s shorter and lithe. Even Mads is a bit skinny for me, but man, he definitely does it for me better than book Hannibal, at least physically. But if I had to pick one Hannibal to be with, it’d absolutely be book Hannibal. Personality over looks, every damn time. Either way, though, I actually ship Hannibal with Clarice (yes yes I get to it later) so damn hard that I can’t actually picture him with me very well. So yeah.
7. The character I’d want to be like: Okay, I’m going to give two answers here so Hannibal doesn’t completely dominate the board. Obviously, my first is Hannibal. Again, aside from the cannibalism, just check out all the things I named up there in number 6. He is a literal genius, wealthy, completely self confident, and super classy. Yes. I want to be all of those things. I’m sort of some of those things. But really though those are awesome things to be. My second answer is Margot Verger. That is a woman who will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She loves deeply, and she’s smart as hell. Hands down one of my favorite characters in the books.
8. The character I’d slap: Chilton. CHILTON. I’m speaking more of the book/movie Chilton right now than the show one, although the show Chilton is an assface too. He’s just smarmy and arrogant and GROSS. Plus, he likes to talk like he knows fucking anything about psychology. I couldn’t stand it. Psychology is my major and my passion and just no. He’d probably get through about 5 sentences, tops, before I started trying to claw his eyes out.
9. A pairing that I love: CLANNIBAL. This, ladies and gents, is my flagship. My OTP of OTPs. The only canon ship that I’ve ever really truly shipped. Obviously this doesn’t apply to the show (YET. YETTTTT. BRYAN FULLER DON’T YOU DARE LET ME DOWN), but Hannibal and Clarice are perfect together. They fill the gaps in each other, they make each other happy, they free each other of the burdens they’ve been weighed down by their entire fucking lives. They are beautiful and perfect and again GO READ METAS BECAUSE THEY’RE WONDERFUL. Particularly the-purple-dragon's (the one who asked this). GO CLICK ON HER NAME. I'm not sure where her Clannibal meta is on her page, but if you can't find it, ask her for it. It's sheer brilliance.
10. A pairing that I despise: This is almost exclusively the show, although I know there are a couple outliers from the books that make me wanna claw my own eyes out (like Clarice/Paul Krendler, like WHATL;IAHDF;LAS). I am definitely not trying to offend anyone, you’re perfectly entitled to ship whatever you like- but I can’t stand Hannigram. Listen, I’m perfectly okay with an occasional deep, dark, and twisted fic about some horrifically unhealthy, based-almost-entirely-on-sex-and-manipulation relationship between Hannibal and Will. But anything other than that makes my skin crawl. In my opinion, Hannigram fluff is not a thing that should have ever existed, and is so OOC to the Hannibal I know that I can’t really abide it. Plus, I just have trouble putting Hannibal with literally anyone besides Clarice.
Thank youuuuuuuu to anyone who read all the way through! *hugs and cookies* And seriously check out the-purple-dragon’s stuff on Hannibal and Clarice. She’s great.
Yellow!
Yellow: 7 facts about my childhood. First and foremost- hello there, darling! Thank you for asking! =D Second- oh boy my childhood. Here we go.
I have very few actual memories from my early childhood. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always had issues with my episodic memory (for anyone who doesn’t know, that means I have trouble remembering events in my life). Most of the stuff I know is from people telling me.
I started speaking at a very early age, and pretty much never stopped.
Even after I learned how to walk, I would refuse to. I’d hold my legs off the ground until the person who was trying to put me down gave up and just carried me. I was a lazy toddler.
I led multiple ‘gangs’ of children in elementary school. We’d have ‘wars’ with the other children. Often I’d go after the boys, because I knew they wouldn’t want to tell the teacher they’d gotten beaten up by a girl. I was a devious little shit. ;D
When I got my very first hair cut where I got to decide how long I wanted it, I cried because it wasn’t short enough. My hair was about 3 inches off my head at the longest point, but apparently I wanted a buzz cut.
I attended a Christian school from 4th grade to 7th grade. I made my parents let me go to public school in 8th grade for 2 reasons: 1) I had been bullied to the point that I required a year and a half of therapy and 2) I was about 95% sure I wasn’t a Christian anymore, which soon escalated to 100%. Moving to a public school was one of the best things to ever happen to me.
I got so frustrated at learning to ride a bike that I actually gave up trying for over a year. I eventually went back and learned how, but that’s a good indication of how much patience I had both as a child and throughout my teenage years.
There ya go, Lane! =)
