Born in the French West Indies Pwoz was touched by the world of graffiti at a very early age. As a teen he left his island for Paris with a dream: "to paint big and to paint it all," and while studying architecture and interior design he says he spent his nights learning the rules of graffiti. Launching the @Kosmopolite_Officiel/ graffiti festival in France, Pwoz has hosted more than 700 street artists and over the course of the 11 festivals has painted alongside the world's most recognized graffiti artists. Now based in Las Vegas, Pwoz told @SensiMagazine he considers himself "a contemporary Sumerian searching for the perfect pictogram." Not sure what parallels Las Vegas may have with Sumeria but painting his first wall in his new city Pwoz's dance party at Colorado Ave and Main St celebrates the joy of life that draws so many to its lights. @thepwoz/
