ummmmm it depends on the track and the game tbh. in the dragon age series, da2 was my least favourite - i felt it's composition was.... almost cheesy? it just seemed really stereotypical for a game soundtrack, particularly an RPG soundtrack. dai:i has an incredible main theme like holy sHIT. actually da:i's composition is probably my favourite in the DA series. god bless trevor morris amirite? (just listen to Calling The Inquisition it's amazing). also the tavern songs are sO GREAT. so so well done
mass effect has a good soundtrack, too. I prefer ME3's soundtrack above ME1 and ME2. it's really representative of the series and is the most interesting, compositionally speaking. a future for the krogan is just oh my go D SO GOOD.
i won't go too music major on this shit bc it can get boring but yeah those are my thoughts.
