The Question Mark Series
#1
So let’s start by here, now. Self-analysing, thinking about the current position in life, where it lies on the spectrum, trying to get some perspective. No vantage points, alas, as the thoughts are yet to gather themselves in order.
So let’s start thinking about thinking. We think every day in all sorts of weird ways. We think about how other people understand who we are by how we look. Appearances matter much, but no much thinking about why they matter. And we’re not saying here that they shouldn’t matter. It’s simply a question of “if we care about appearances, why are they worth caring about?”
And so the existential questions start to slip left and right messing the order that everything was set in. What if this, what if that; but you really have no time for that. Or so you tell yourself.
You’re busy. Or you keep yourself busy, maybe even if you don’t need to be. Simply, the concerns, the worries, all the extra filler, which deep down you know doesn’t need to be there, you hang on to all of it, dragging yourself and your desires down with you.
