The people of Raskmillion had lived out their quiet year. Hand over fist, tooth and nail, good honest people rebuilt what they had lost, relying on the kindness of the missing to fill in the gaps. When the Winter Shepherds came, they were not found wanting, and the broken city drove the shadows out.

We are beginning to carry some small, indie rpgs like this one because i think i love them. We played this one on wednesday night and i can't say enough about how great it is. 2-4 players, 2-4 hours, easy to learn, anyone can play/enjoy, creative-imaginitive collective story-telling that feels like a new journey and exploration of our humanity every time you sit down with it. There are about 10,000,000 reasons I love @rabbitandraven but one of them is her Game Sense--what would a particular group of people enjoy? She always gets it right and this time I fell in love with her picks: The Quiet Year, which is storytelling and mapmaking and imagination was my favorite. Our final map is featured here next to the bottle we found on the beach. We were super excited to see it had a message in it; hopes were dashed when we saw the message was about Jesus.
