Laser tag-- is just an oportunity for him to defeat Kageyama in yet another game, the thrill of hunting him down through the dimly lit maze in an attempt to win making the prospect all the more exciting. And he is almost there, he can almost taste victory, just one point away from him.

Oikawa could shoot now and end it, ‘ kill ’ the younger boy, but he takes a step forward instead, the grip on the gun never faltering. And another. And another.

Until the setter finds himself cornering Kageyama, pushing him against a wall and, with great concern, pressing his lips against his rather roughly ( chapped, as he had expected ). He moves them rather uselessly, as his rival is inexperienced in this department, and he can sense his confussion ( and isn’t he confused too ?  The word ‘ why ? ’ resonates in his head like a neverending echo ).

He presses the trigger and parts.

“ Game over Tobio-chan ! ” He turns on his heels, already marching towards the exit; no matter how dlightfully shocked Kageyama's expression must be, he can’t bring himself to look-- not while risking him finding any trace of beffudlement in his. He swallows, looking ahead and trying to find answers ( for show, a dramatic ending, to toy with him ).

“ And you should use some chapstick. ”
