This is a short piece I did for #TheRakeJapan about my favourite tailor. “I’ve been fortunate to come across many celebrated tailors throughout my career. I admire all of them, for each of their style is unique. They all carry an air of individuality and heritage which makes each encounter memorable. #AndersonandSheppard is particularly close to my heart: It was very first tailor about which I learned. It wasn’t a coincidence that it is also the tailor I most long for. I still remember how I would study my customer’s A&S suit and being completely drawn into its distinctive style – it carries the right amount of drape yet it is still soft. Another like about A&S is how well its haberdashery is put together. It’s a sanctuary of good taste: every article is exquisitely made and displayed at its best. I just cannot get enough of it. But perhaps what I like A&S even more is the people behind it: their courage, persistence and commitment to continuing the greatness of British tailoring is admirable.” #AttireHouse
