#covid19#coronavirus#i mean#this feels so surreal honestly#people in my neighborhood are just#walking#WALKING?#because they have nothing to do#there's no one in town#my friend kept his spring break plans and is in new orleans#the streets are empty in all his story videos#but he's like french quarter!!#i'm having regular minor stress about how often i'm washing my hands#my mother is mad because the government is giving poor people financial compensation#me: 'our lives aren't affected by this at all'#her: 'i was gonna put that towards your college!'#me:...'people are losing their jobs mom'#there is RACISM#there is CLASSISM#there is ABLEISM#there is EUGENICS and ECOFASCISM#this world is just such a shit place#i ask myself a lot where I'm going to be when apocalypse strikes#what will we do#when the bark of our airs is peeled away to reveal the flaws of our society#i'm at home i guess#but the recovery is where our characters will really show#not the characters of the villains#those are clear as day now#but the character of the normal folk
