Valentine's Day was always an active holiday for Kise. After all, it was a day where Kise's shoe locker and desk became so filled with chocolates and love letters from girls and he had no choice but to graciously accept them all. They also ran a few articles about him in Zunon Boy, such as interviews on how Kise best thought to be the "ideal" boyfriend and what were his ideas on a "perfect" date. It was, for the most part, bullshit of course. People seemed to have this idea that Kise played with girls a lot, but it couldn't be further from the truth. Still, it was easy to tell the magazines and his fans what they wanted to hear. In actuality, Kise had no interest in divulging that kind of personal time to someone who didn't impress him or anything...
Aomine Daiki was someone that impressed Kise. And since they'd begun their relationship only about a week ago, it marked Kise's first Valentine's Day with someone who was actually special in mind. He had only seen Aomine once since the carnival, so they were still very, very new at this. Of course, he made plans to see Aomine as soon as practice at Kaijou was over, with a small bag tied neatly with a ribbon in tow. He hadn't expected Aomine himself to be the one to greet him at the door, which flustered Kise a little.
"Um, Happy Valentine's Day, Aominecchi!" Kise greeted, holding out a small bag of chocolates (filled with caramel and dark chocolate truffles) for him. Damn, he felt a little embarrassed suddenly. "I've never done this before, so I hope you'll accept these." Kise had only looked up a video online on how to make these and copied what they did, so they should be good, but...

It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your L I F E.
"Ay, s’nice to meet you all! How’re you all doing? I don’t actually care that much, but you can try to intrigue me if you’re bored."
