A certain Nara found himself once again in the Kazekage's office, although he wasn't here for business. He came to see the redheaded leader. For once, Gaara had completed his paperwork and had some free time. So the two of them decided to use that free time for some quick games of Shogi. Gaara wasn't a bad player once Shikamaru showed him the ropes, even though the Nara had won the first few games. The two had made thenselves comfortable in his office, kicking his shoes off and relaxing in his chair. "Your move." The ponytailed nin claimed.

"Ok," Gaara replied, her teeth already starting to chatter a little.

She was not looking forward to winter, the actually got snow in Leaf. Gaara wrapped the blanket around her starting to warm up, she had been surprised by the rain storm. While they did get rain in the desert, it was nothing like this heavy, barely-can-see-through stuff. Another thing was that Suna had interlocking tunnels underneath all the buildings except for the prison so that when sand storms, or any other for that matter happened they could go about their business with out the storm bothering them. That was not the case in Leaf and she had almost gotten lost getting back home. While she was getting better at navigating the larger Shinobi village, sometimes it still turned her around. She wandered over to her room and got on some dry clothes, they felt nice warm.

"Naruto," she called out, "I am dressed again. I hope that the groceries did not get ruined…"

Naruto wondered what it was like in Suna for her, but he didn't like asking about it and seem uneducated. he would probably fetch a book about her home later and study the heck out of it. "Groceries do not meld or anything, so it's fine," he told her quickly tried to organize the things she bought and stored them properly before walking over to the redhead once again to wrap his arms around her in a tight hug. "Feel warm again?"" he asked gently and smiled, hoping she didn't spend too much time in the rain. She was after all wielding her sand and that never cooperated well with rain, that much he was sure of and overall Naruto didn't want her to catch a cold and lie in bed later on. "We'll go together next time."

Kuri had a smile of triumphantly holding a pillow that seemed to be falling aport with featherers sticking out in odd places. Her hair had a few feathers   in it it was quiet a sight. Kuri place her pillow down and wraps her arms around Gaara placing a kiss on his check. “I know and I am yours.”
