We Are The Reason
This song speaks about the magnanimous and unconditional love God has for us though we are still sinners.He sent his Son as a living sacrifice to die on Calvary cross so we,sinners,shall not perish but have eternal life .(John 3:16).He,Jesus,took up ,not one ,not 2,not 3 ,but all of our iniquities and transgressions.Compared to Him,our sufferings are tantamount to zero.Mark 14:10 portrays the Betrayal of Jesus by this person who is none other than the infamous character in the Bible,Judas Iscariot.Jesus knew it all along that someone(specifically,close friend) will betray Him.(Psalms 41:9).Later on,his prophesy was fulfilled.(Mark 14:10). Particularly,for those are distressed owing to betrayal by friends ,this is an encouragement to you.Do not be dismayed.Our God who was supreme ,was also betrayed.He can understand all of our sufferings.The last few words that Jesus said was “Father in Heaven,Forgive them for they do not know what are doing”This can be applied when someone sinned against you. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.Matthew 6:14-15 tells you must forgive the wrongdoers.
