The Red House 🛑 — Located near Ximen station at the heart of Wanhua District, this Octagonal shaped building got my attention. The first building i visit to begin my Taipei city exploration. Building was constructed by architect Kondo Juro back in 1908. The Red House main function is for showcasing Taiwanese cultural and creative industry as well as promoting and exhibiting small business. The Red House has been shifted to many functions from public market, story telling saloon, cinema, to theatre.
