Jesus is coming soon! How often do I hear that warning, and maybe YOU too! But the question's not "how soon is soon", but rather are "Am I ready"? Are you ready? Are the sheep in my flock ready? Do we really feel the sense of URGENCY?

What are we doing knowing that Jesus return is soon? Still leaving in a half boldness? Oh that cry. How am I leaving? Going with the flow. Yes--flow. Flow inside the church. But not being a stone to interrupt the flow and give the call that Jesus is returning. Dormant movement. Active maybe. But is it winning souls to Jesus? Or just another play hidden in the term fellowship? Where is the urgency of giving the call?

Jesus is coming soon! May it not be in words. But HE is returning very soon! Are you ready?

I see the signs around me in the world today

I feel the sense of urgency; this is not the time to play

Yet I put off ‘till tomorrow the work that should be done today

And the clock keeps ticking steadily as God’s children go astray

  Do you hear Him calling out to you as you as you’re busy day to day?

Do you hear Him say “I miss you, spend some time with me and pray”

You’re not wrestling with flesh and blood, you need wisdom from above

To carry out the great commission and share the message of My love

 Chorus:

Children won’t you heed the final call?

The harvest is ripe and the Savior bids us all,

He says,

“Seek ye first the kingdom and proclaim to one and all:

Christ is coming back! Get ready!

Choose the narrow way! Oh Steady!

Put away all sin, and heed the final call!”

 “The time is now! Don’t put it off, tomorrow’s not yours anyways.

There are souls out there with questions and there standing in your way.

Eternal life? or death?  The call is yours! Choose your destiny today.

If you refuse the ox will cry out, “Straight the path, prepare the way.”
