11 and 10 (GtI) for the ask game!
10. What is your hero characters relationship with their humanity?
Not the best - in the sense that she doesn't care for it! Getting sent to the Pokemon world was a net benefit for Brooke, and she prefers not to dwell on her humanity. There's very little, if anything at all that she misses; getting turned into an Oshawott meant that she didn't lose much of the autonomy she was familiar with, and now she gets to blast people with water and have a shell-sword thingy?? Awesome.
Getting sent back to the human world was pretty miserable for her, though over the course of the events of GTI, it shifts from "I don't want to go back to that" to "I don't want to lose my friends". Everyone in the Post Town, especially her partner, was something she'd never had before.
11. What was the partner characters past like?
Axdrew (actually given that moniker due to Brooke), was probably just a youngster on his own, maybe one who left home a bit too early. Hopped from place to place until he landed at Post Town! I like to think the concept of Pokemon Paradise in the game wasn't something that he came up with as a goal from the start, but rather something that happened as a result of him finding Brooke, and everyone else who found them.
