What Russia did was stupid, they really fucked up. But imo US should stay out of their bussines too. I'm not saying it's ok to let Russia swallow Ukraine,it's opposite actually (we're pretty close heh ), but as long as ukrainians solve their problems themselves I would keep that way. Maybe I'm terribly wrong. Maybe I really don't understand what actually happens there, but as long Ukraine is Ukraine and not russia. well Im done, sorry to bother but i really like discuss this and there is noone:)
U.S will most likely end up joining because they just HAVE to shove their nose in EVERY SINGLE FUCKING POLITICAL BUSINESS. I don't think Ukraine will turn into Russia. That I can pretty much guarantee because someone WILL interfere by that time. They won't allow Ukraine to turn into Russia. WW2 will not repeat.
Someone really remember invsion to Czechoslovakia, hmm :).. I think there is not going to be a war. They would never dare. They will handle it, somehow.. I really disagree with that invasion, but the referendum is actually good thing, isn't it?
Honestly, I don't know if there's going to be a war or not. I don't think the U.S will interfere because honestly we're scared. But if we did, it wouldn't be too bad. It's like all of NATO against Russia. Even if they called for help I don't think they'd triumph. And over matters such as war, I highly doubt the people will get any say. A referendum WAS given to the people of Crimea, and apparently they decided on allowing Crimea to become Russia again.
