I can't believe I FINALLY started reading this book again. And i say "again" because I have a terrible habit of being disloyal to my books when I decide to read like ten at once. I've had this book since almost two years ago and i'm so glad to finally get back to it now. It's funny though because I decided to read this series after I watched BBC's Sherlock (yes I am one of those people) and John Watson and Martin Freeman's John Watson are like polar opposites. But they’ve still got the same kind of undying loyalty that kind of makes me think of a puppy, only John Watson is like the trusting, unquestioning, devoted golden retriever and BBC John Watson is like this....this fiesty, spunky, but still-willing-to-follow-you-around-because-he-really-does-love-you terrier (I know, terrible analogy but you get what I mean). I just started getting into the “The Six Napoleons” and it’s giving me “The Blind Banker” vibes even though the storylines are totally different. It’s kind of fun to guess which SH stories BBC will remake next, and at this point I can’t really say which one I would prefer because so far the stories have all been magnificent but hopefully after I have read the other SH books I can try to pick out the top five that I think would make awesome adaptation.
I guess I can’t really call this a review yet because I’m still kind of in the middle of this so I’ll just call it a “pre-review” for now. Anyways, hope y’all are having a awesomesauce Friday night!!
