Hi people !
Sorry for the long hiatus, work happened, writer’s block happened and life happened. They still do, on a regular basis :)
Man, I was very excited for Star Wars Rogue One and the Star Wars Celebration. If you follow my activity on ‘Conversations about her’ you would notice that I managed to snag the right to write about the stunning behind-the-scenes.
Last Friday I put down some notes and I was so happy to pick up the pen when I decided to browse my newsfeed and I was struck with news on Nice and Turkey. Seeing as I sometimes work around 11 hours at work some days I only get to eat and sleep.
The weekend was a mess as I felt useless in worrying about my friends and trying to take care of myself and my cat. It didn’t feel right to write, save to post. Yes, I know worrying won’t bring anything but I can’t really do what I am aching to do- take care of my friends who are my family. Here, I also want to say that my friends are, at least physically, well but it’s what happens after such a major event that matters. If you follow the news you know how ruthless Erdogan can be and this attempted coup, staged or not, is giving him more power to suppress.
I hope that, wherever you are, you are safe and you are, against all odds, still convinced that there is some good out there. Have a good day/night out there and see you soon.
