I'm driving up on Saturday, and I'll be in town until 8/4. If y'all want me to host (which I'm happy to), the apartment will be free of overbearing parental units (I'm house/cat-sitting) by Tuesday afternoon. Be forewarned, the apartment comes with an incredibly furry orange cat, a hyperactive and precocious toddler (maybe not the staple gun this time?), and a general lack of air conditioning and work space. Also sometimes spiders. However, we also have a really excellent view and a beach, and a very large television. There will also probably be alcohol.
My schedule for the week is pretty open, so whenever we can wrangle everyone together works for me.
I'm planning on bringing up a giant box of old t-shirts to recycle into a quilt and t-shirt yarn, and whatever else we might want to make out of them. So if everyone feels like jumping on the re-made clothing bandwagon with me, that's a thing that could happen? Especially if someone brings a sewing machine that can manage knit fabrics?
