Which of your characters do you find boring?

Hiya! How are you? I hope all is well xoxo

To be honest, I actually think Natalie is the most boring because she is just so perfect. She doesn’t have attachment and jealousy issues -cough cough hayden cough cough- , she doesn’t have to keep the fact that she’s married a secret, she hasn’t been dumped 3 times…she just has no issues which is a great thing for her but story wise I don’t really have anything to say about her. She is like everyone’s therapist though, which seems to be the most Interesting thing about her. when people need to talk, they go straight to Natalie. Other than that and being the queen of Stralia she’s got nothing else going on! I love Natalie so so much, don’t get me wrong, it’s just that compared to others she’s slightly boring!

Okay I still gotta go back and read your story from the beginning HOWEVER I am familiar enough with your characters to send you numbers for a specific character:

(Not because I like him, on the contrary, if I could deck him in the face and get away with it I would with no hesitation😠)

19. What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

His biggest relationship is jealousy. It has 100% destroyed relationships before. Natalie is totally fine with it and in fact finds it funny. It has destroyed past relationships so he’s learned from past mistakes but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t still get jealous. This isn’t a romantic relationship thing but he actually gets jealous of Ben because he spends more time with Amidala than he does and he absolutely hates it. There have been multiple incidents where Amidala has had to tell him where Ben isn’t “stealing” her away from him. Sooo...

In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?

One of the many great qualities that Hayden has is that he is always willing to improve. He will never yell or get angry for any criticism and will never take it to heart but instead listen and learn from it!

Hello again! I forgot to ask you this when you first sent me an ask, so how are you doing x ?

Does your character remember names or faces easier?

Amidala remembers names easier but she's just one of those people who can literally put a name to face within seconds. She also remembers people by events. For example someone would say “do you remember so and so” and she’d say “you mean this person who was doing something when we were at the park eating ice cream?”

What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?

Amidala had a stuffed ducked called ducky who she would literally never let go of. She got him when she was 2 and he went everywhere with her and she still has it to this day. He will sometimes even end up in bed with her and Ben (fun fact: he originally named ducky Mr Quacks but Amidala was so young she couldn’t say quack so she named him ducky instead ) but just like any stuffed animal, he will unfortunately land on the floor and spend the rest of the night there 🫠🫠🫠.

Do you feel inspired for your story by TV series and movies? Have you incorporated any of these into your story, like a plot or a character?

Y E S .

My literal whole chapter 1 was just completely inspired by the Star Wars prequels (AKA my favourite movies of all time). Also, Amidala is named after the one and only Queen Amidala of Naboo. The cast of those movies had also inspired the names of some of my characters E.G. Hayden and Natalie. There are a tonnnnnn of SW references in my story and you just have to find them!

Like I said before, lots of the names of places and people have been named after characters from movies and TV shows, like [🚨SPOILER 🚨] one of Amidala’s grandchildren is named after Thorin from The Hobbit. Also, the Thornton Palace was named after one of my favourite characters from When Calls the Heart (a hallmark show lol) Jack Thorton!
