📖✨ ••• Random Thoughts ••• 🌸 A chapter from this book made me remember a day when I was walking on my way home crying. I was so sad and angry that I couldn't hold it and just bursted to tears in a public place. As expected, a lot of people stared as I passed them by. Their usual peripheral view didn't seem normal so they gazed. They're not used to not seeing somebody look happy or 'normal'. I know crying isn't. 📖✨ This book has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while. I bought it cause you know... Flipped 🐣 Reading the blurb, I did not find it appealing. It seemed predictable and the kind of book that would end happily... From tragedy to recovery 🤷 But as one chapter led to another, I was hooked! It's my first week back to work, and this book got me looking forward to evenings when I know I'd read something beautiful. 🌸 Plus look what I found at the end (literally) 😆 I kept bills in my books I think a year ago and as I read my novels, the ones that I missed collecting pop up! Last time it was 20dhs... Now, it's fifty! I AM A RUNNER. That’s what I do. That’s who I am. Running is all I know, or want, or care about. It was a race around the soccer field in third grade that swept me into a real love of running. Breathing the sweet smell of spring grass. Sailing over dots of blooming clover. Beating all the boys. After that, I couldn’t stop. I ran everywhere. Raced everyone. I loved the wind across my cheeks, through my hair. Running aired out my soul. It made me feel alive.
