Wind rushes through brunette hair as the world underneath blurs together. Giant black wings shine in the sunlight, a perfect feeling that made Project 13′s heart soar. But quickly the feeling of air sliding over her skin is replaced with the harsh crash of landing on cement. Dark figure loom over her as she curls in on herself, wings wrapping tightly around her body. But no struggling can stop the burning pain of her bones breaking, and the slick rip of muscles being torn from her back. She screams but nothing comes out, just a silent brush of air, and the feeling of being frozen in place.

Leo bolts up out of sleep with the last of her screams dying in her throat. It’s just a dream. That day was over and gone, and so where the things she held dear. The small body curls into it’s self and wills the urge to puke away until her heart beats close to normality. Just a dream...

Equipping the Team

Natasha was the prize of the technological development unit of Hydra, but she had always wanted to be a field operative.  Yes, she was amazing at making weapons and designing armor, but she wanted to actually put things to use, to utilize her designs herself.  She approached agent Rollins, it was her responsibility to get an assessment of anything the strike team needed replaced.  In addition, she was hoping to discuss her potential in the field.  

“Agent Rollins.” She offered the man a smile, holding a datapad in her left hand. “Do you have a sec? I know you’re not going out on assignment today, so you should be able to spare the time.” She began to tap away at the pad, pulling up the strike team tech specifications. “First, mark what you need repaired.  You team will be issued new weapons tomorrow morning, so your current equipment will need to be retired. After you’ve done that I have an unrelated question.”
