Watching season 12 again on the train today reminds me of just how much Dean and Cas don’t know how the other feels.

How much WE know because we have seen them outside of each others’ stories but only in relation to each other?!

I totally get why they both think their love for the other is unrequieted.

It just makes me mad how stupidly in love and stupid they are about it given how intelligent they are

- Imagine Draco and Harry proposing to each other one time and got competitive

- Harry then challenging Draco to a better proposal which Draco accepts cos a Malfoy never backs down from a challenge

- proposals then pops out of the blue

- one time, while they were having dinner with the Weasley family, Harry then proceeded to kneel and propose and everyone cheering and Molly having tears in her eyes

- when suddenly Draco scoffs and Ron was ready to punch him the git  but Hermione stopped him

- everything is silent and Draco saying “Is this all you got Potter?” with a smirk 

- In which Harry replied with a “I’m just warming up prat”

- “Better watch out Golden boy  cos I’m going to give you the best proposal”

- and now everyone is confused and surprised at the turn of events cos wtf are they seriously competing for the best proposal?!

- weeks turn to months and everyone was getting pissed off and agitated on when they’d actually just kneel and propose like normal people

Everyone keeps talking about Dean's happy little smile and look of adoration during the reunion scene - and all things Dean in general - , while I sit in the corner and can't get over the fact how much pain and fear and longing we see in Cas' face. That's all I can think about when I watch this scene. He looks like an emotional wreck, and it's painful to watch.

They just basically sound like this with their stupid arguments:

"You don't do jack, Cas, you stay here."

"NO."

"OK, fine. But Sam is coming with you."

"How dare you Dean, don't you trust me?!"

"TO HELP. I'm worried about you, you fucking idiot."

"Oh. Well fuck you, Dean, I love you too."
