Throughout the entire story I thought Pluto was Scottish for some reason. Until I saw somewhere he was described as British. I still read him with a Scottish accent tbh

So from what I know the most general term for accents for people native to Blackpool would be Lancashire (I've heard it particularly described as adding a bit more "slur/twang" to a typical Lancashire accent). I typically run Pluto here off of a more British accent mixed with some Scottish! That being said I do try to use a lot of region specific "slang" for Sandgrownun's (born and raised people from Blackpool) to fill out his vocabulary. I'm trying to familiarize myself more with the Lancashire accent so I can switch to that for him, but right now it's mostly British mixed in with speaking patterns/terms I've picked up from canon and Sandgrownun "slang."
