Lady Winter’s relations with Prince Cody Schreave ( @codyschreave ) have recently been brought to the media’s attention. There has been no official elimination or punishment, for committing treason, given to Lady Winter. The Royal Family has not said anything at this time regarding the situation.
Selection OC Net : First Challenge - Life Before the Selection
A/N : Sorry for the errors in the text. After all, I’m still learning English ! ^^’ Also, I wanted to precise that Roxana isn’t a character created for the Selection OC Net. She has her own story and I tried to adapt it for the Selection Universe.

Well, my full name is Roxana Carey Wate and I am in the most useful caste of Illéa : the Fives. I was born in June 26th seventeen years ago... as a Four.
Actually, my father used to be a wealthy Four living in the province of Likely. As a businessman, he had to travel all around the world. That’s how he met my mother. Lady Elisa James was a beautiful woman, a prominant member of the English aristocracy. She fell in love with him and gave up her title to flee to Illéa. Personally, I don’t understand her decision. It’s very romantic, okay, but she did it for Robert Wate. Falling for him is inconceivable to me.
Anyway, their mariage has been happy... during few years. The problems didn’t start after my birth, unlike you might think, but when a neighbor was declared rebel. Everybody has been declassed and we became Fives. My father, this brave man, took all his money and ran away with his mistress, leaving his wife and his six-year-old daughter on their own.
Robert’s sister, Lola, who married a Three, nicely proposed to lodge us, so we moved to Carolina. My mummy taught me how to play piano, harp, contrabass, speak foreign languages like French, German or Italian and singing. Strangely, it was the best period of my life. I lived with the persons I loved the most. Yes, I was become a Five, but it wasn’t a problem. In fact, I loved (and I still love, even if it’s useless) my new caste.
Trueman and Lola adopted a little girl when I was nine. Her name is June and she’s so adorable ! We are really close to each other, like two sisters. She even thinks I protect her too much, but Lola is worse than me !
In fact, without Lola, Trueman and June, I don’t know how I could have survived to the death of my mummy. I was thirteen when she had her accident, and I made a depression. I had a family to help me, but it was like I was all alone. I’m better now, but sometimes, I relapse.
Since her death, I am very moody and cynical. You can never know if I am in a good mood or not. But Trueman describes me as a brave, determined, sweet, sociable and selfless person. He forgets I am rancorous, deceitful, and stubborn and that I’m not confident at all.
Hopefully for him, Robert’s never come back, even for the burial. If he had, he would have been killed and buried in the woods of the Appalachian mountains.
I still live with the Truemans in their house in the mountains of North Carolina. I go to the high school of the town of Boone with Trueman, since he’s an English teacher. He never lets me drive, even if I have my license, he thinks it’s too dangerous. I know I live in a little bubble, I couldn’t act like a Three all my life. One day, I will have to fend for myself, and I find it frightening, but exciting too.
That’s why I decided to enter my name for the Selection. It’s the first step of my independance. I love my family but I am seventeen, I think it’s time to leave my dark past behind me and have a new start. The Selection is my chance for that. Being a princess... I’ve never dreamt of that. But I know, even if I don’t fall in love with Prince Ashton, that this competition will change me forever.”
