The Inspiration behind BLOSSOM

During a trip to the Far East we visited the scenic city of The Great West Lake, home to the world famous silk market in Hangzhou, China. The city is bursting with traditional hand painted silk fabrics and stunning embroideries which influenced our own contemporary take on these beautiful crafted designs.

Each BLOSSOM scarf has been individually spray painted by hand and skilfully shaded by local artisans, on a heavy weight, ultra drapey silk satin.

The Inspiration behind MOTO

BON VOYAGE is the third collection from The Silk Vault and is inspired by memorable trips to different captivating destinations. 

'In 1960 my father bought a scooter and travelled through Europe from his rural village in the Swedish mountains of Jamtland to Rome, the birth place of Mod culture, where he joined an international motorally. During his 9540 kilometre long road-trip he collected numerous patches, badges and pins as souvenirs from the different destinations he visited, still displayed with pride on his shelf to this day.'

The MOTO Unisex Pocket Square is printed on a lightweight Silk Habutai, finished with hand-fringed edges along the diagonal striped border.
