So I was reading your fic, Magnets for Trouble (really good so far, you are an AWESOME writer!) when I noticed you gave Fred the last name 'Whitmore'. Any relation to a Preston B. Whitmore from the Atlantis movies, or is that just a fun coincidence?
That is the exact reason why I gave him that name, good eye! I see “Fred Lee” used a lot in BH6 fanfics, and I was never a huge fan of that because I didn’t like how it sounded (I’m weird about having specific rhythms for names). And I decided I liked the headcanon that Fred’s family is related to Preston Whitmore from Atlantis. There are similarities - kooky rich folks who are all about helping nerdy cinnamon roll protagonists turn improbable kid’s tales into reality.

Oh wow I always forget that that even exists. It's great to hear you're a fan of it though! Man, I'm so horrible at longer pieces - I just sort of wait around for a few months until people actually force me to get off my lazy butt and write new parts.
Yeah, sure, I can write a few more installments of that. I'd love to finish it someday. Dragon and I came up with a really awesome plot, and I'd hate to see it wasted. Perhaps I'll have to rewrite it from the beginning before then; I cringe at the earlier parts.
