this is getting into some pretty nuanced modern communication territory but no ‘k’ and ‘kk’ have very different tones and connotations
‘kk’ is pretty exclusively a shorthand affirmation of a statement (”i’m on my way” “kk”) whereas ‘k’ can range anywhere from that to dismissive passive-aggression. internet shorthand is a strange beast.
