Went to @thesmokepit on Thursday, and I'm glad I came on a day when they had their broccoli and cheese casserole. That stuff is delicious! I also got the smoked chicken quarters and brisket with fried okra, Texas toast, and the above mentioned broccoli and cheese casserole. Last night I went to @thesmokepit for their free extra side on Wednesdays. I was also really hungry before and thought I could eat their large chicken quarters plate, and I was wrong. I ate the cornbread, okra, mac and cheese, and most of my chicken quarters.
