I am finally back from my one year hiatus!!! This past year I've been too busy eating to actually stop for a second and take a picture of my meal to then blog about later. But now that I'm 25 and more mature, I've gained some will-power and can appreciate the beauty that lies on the plate in front of me. After I finished appreciating this beautiful eggs benedict this morning, it took me all of four minutes to devour the entire masterpiece. The Big Bean in Newmarket, NH is probably one of my favorite spots to grab breakfast, and this eggs benedict definitely did not disappoint. The combination of the basil pesto hollandaise sauce, tomatoes, and veggie sausage all created an exciting hipster-Italian party in my mouth! Although I knew I was stuffed (like a pepper), I still chose to finish off the meal with a grilled raspberry chocolate muffin. I didn't need the extra calories but I was still salivating, so I figured why not? In the wise words of R. Kelly, "My mind is tellin' me no, but my body, my body's tellin' me yes." Always listen to your body, folks. Always.
