A 1974 Capitol Records re-release of Jesse Colin Young’s 1964 debut album: “The Soul of a City Boy”. On Capitol Records - ST-11267. A random review: Not a known performer, but holds some good qualities of a true singer/songwriter. Only acoustic guitar to accompany his voice, which often tells a life's tail of solitude, love and forsaken love, rambling songs and other songs to ease the pain. The album has a strong bluesy feel to it, like some of Shawn Phillips or John Renbourn early works, and it shows how much talent was spread around musicians those days.
