Happy Halloween's Eve, thespookyarchitect!
Apodyopis
Apodyopis - The act of mentally undressing someone.
Perhaps it was the abruptness of the incident that made him pause in his work. Or that he had yet to have the standard three cups of coffee and was severely lacking in his usual amount of caffeine. An argument could even be made that the specifics of the current job was eating everyone alive from the inside out and the tension was thick.
Regardless of the reason, when Ariadne came in that morning wearing a comfy turtle neck and a slightly shorter than usual skirt, Arthur could not stop starring. Secretly, mind you. He would never stare openly. Only passing glances when she wasn’t paying attention or from the corner of his eye. But the Point man’s focus was on the architect at least 80% of the time that day. The paperwork was piling up but he couldn’t find it in him to care.
That skirt was a menace and needed to be removed immediately. He wanted to remove the material, and the material under that, with his teeth. Slowly. Fingers desired to touch and caress those lovely thighs that he could see at the right angle. Skin so soft, as delicate as silk. Ironic for such a strong soul, an invincible woman that could be so gentle.
He could lay her down on the desk easily. Kiss and touch every inch of skin that was reveal as he undressed her. Slowly, intimately, until she asked for him to go faster. Which he would. Eventually.
Dark eyes blinked then, coming back into focus and reality. Another pair of dark eyes looked back at him.
Oh. He’d been caught.
Well, the only logical response would be to explain to Ariadne his behavior and tell her exactly what he had been thinking. Or better yet, show her.

No one really knew how the mysterious box got there, nor who brought it. Many have tried to open it, and many more to figure out what the mysterious markings on its sides meant. Yet, the box traveled through space and time, a riddle to be solved, yet no one managed to do so.
Right now, it was placed in the middle of an empty hall, seemingly left behind. There was a slight hum heard from its interface, like a call unanswered, as if waiting for someone to find it.

"What are you doing?" The question was more out of shock and curiosity if anything. "Because I really don't think it's a great idea."
" They're sending us to do what, now? "
