Tonight wasn’t a good night for her to go out. But when Maeve got a tip about the location of a group of Strigoi in the area, well she couldn’t resist it. She needed to know if those monsters were the ones she’s been searching for. But that meant she’d have to cut her time with Ella short, much to her dismay. So she slid out of bed while the other woman was hopefully still sleeping. Already getting herself dressed, she selected the most low profiled things to wear, dark jeans and long sleeved shirt so she could hide among the night.
Clicking her belt on made the woman stir. The blonde froze, holding her breath as her hand gripped tightly on the silver stake she was shoving through one of the slots. Maeve couldn’t help but sigh softly as she heard Ella start to wake up. Her breathing returned to a normal rate and the blonde turned to face her still groggy form. “Hey sweetheart,” the Moroi started, slowly straightening her clothing out. She tried to smile genuinely at Ella. “I didn't mean to wake you up, go back to bed.”
