My cat is sleeping in a box. Yes I know all the cats do that but he usually sleeps only on the couch or on my bed and never slept in a box before and he’s so cute right now.

It’s delicious fruit season, apples and plums are ripe on the trees and pomegranates and grapes are next. Fruit is the best.

I ate yummy food for lunch. No need to tell I didn’t cook it.

I have some free time before starting to work on my thesis and more than all I’ve passed the three exams that literally haunted me for years making me feel stupid and useless and now they’re behind my shoulders forever and if it doesn’t make me happy I don’t know what else could.

I won a book in a giveaway online. I hope it’ll be cool.

Akashi Drabble

Inspired by the lovely thethreedemons, thank you for giving me this idea LOL

In which Akashi acts prissy. 

“I refuse.”

You stared at him, stunned. Here was your crush, someone you admired deeply for their personality and smile and how they made you feel. He was the picture of regality, at all hours. Never smiled too wide, never displayed an excess amount of emotion, always composed. 

And of course, he displayed this manner now as well, because this came natural to him and he was a prince in his own way. 

However, the way he crossed his arms and gave you a stony look was completely unnecessary. You put your hands on your hips. 

“You’re overreacting.” You chided, pushing the plate of fried chicken towards him. “It tastes better if you eat it with your hands, I promise you.”

And at this point, he scowled the most delicate of scowls. “It is savage.” 

Shoving the plate closer to him, you tried to put on your most winning smile. “Akashi-san, it’s been half an hour. Please, just try it.”

“No,” was his immediate response. 

You wanted to slam your head on the dinner table. He’d been so eager when you had told him that you wanted to help him try out some “normal people” things, since he had mentioned wanting the opportunity. He practically jumped at the chance. But now he was almost pouting, like a stubborn child. 

Finally relenting, you walked over to your cabinets and searched around in there, trying to find something else that Akashi would deem normal, but would perhaps be more willing to try. Your hand hit upon a crinkly package, and then you got an idea. 

Five minutes later, Akashi had a bowl and a spoon sat in front of him. “And what do you call this?” he asked slowly picking up his spoon and stirring the soup.

“They’re instant noodles! You’ll try this, won’t you?” You eagerly sat in front of him, chin resting in your palms. 

Giving you an obliging smile, he nodded and filled up the spoon, then put it into his mouth. You watched his face carefully. 

It went from curious, to furrowed brows and a puckered mouth, to a forced smile. “Delicious.”

You couldn’t help it, you burst out laughing, and continued until you had tears in your eyes and your stomach had cramps and you were having trouble breathing. 

And he sat there, with that regal smile of his, and perfect posture, and polite smile. The two dishes pushed far, far away from him.

The song of chirping birds from the outside woke him up. The first thing he saw was your beautiful and tranquil sleeping visage. He was indeed blessed to have someone like you. Himuro placed his lips on your forehead as he wasn’t able to resist your allure. He smiled as he remembered those mini fights (not) you two would always have, arguing about who was more beautiful. He’d always let you win, of course, though for him, even his own beauty wouldn’t be able to beat yours.

“Good morning,” he whispered the moment you opened your eyes. He traced his fingers along the side of your face. It tickled you a bit; nonetheless, it made you shut your eyes due to the pleasure. “Can you not go today?”

“Tatsuya…” You frowned as you were reminded that you had to go back to your university dorm later. You hated the fact that he had already graduated while you were still finishing your last year studying Chemistry.

“I’ll drive you to the university tomorrow morning, I promise. Please don’t leave me yet,” he begged, bringing you closer to him. He trapped you in his arms as if you’d disappear any moment once he let his guard loose.

“You’re talking as if I’m about to die,” you giggled before bringing your lips to his for a quick good morning kiss.

“Well, I pretty much die every time you leave me, and I’m sure you feel the same, so for the benefit of both parties, stay.”
