April 2017 - One Night Stand - Approximately 7000 people packed the Tony White Oval in Mount Isa for this Triple J, free admission, all ages, drug and alcohol free event. Shovel and I had an amazing time getting our groove on to bands we’d never heard of and even made it into the local newspaper. We completely lost our shit when Fatman Scoop hit the stage as hype man for The Thundamentals. Tash Sultana was incredible playing a variety of instruments and singing whilst having laryngitis, we felt blessed to have witnessed her performance, especially after she cancelled her Sydney gigs due to poor health.
Brilliant event, brilliant music and a brilliant somewhat non intoxicated crowd. Thanks TripleJ
