The Lil Engine that could
Here in Darjeeling there is a UNESCO World Heritage site known as: The Toy Train, a cute little train that still runs on steam from a coal fire that burns in the engine. It happily winds around the mountain, hugging it's corners and wavering on the edge of cliffs.
The old fashioned chugging of the train, pulls you up higer and you can hear the engine muttering the chant 'I think I can, I think I can' while plumes of the hazardous smoke puff into the sky.
Unlike most tourist attractions, this one lived up to my expectations but now along with my cold, the threat of Delhi Belly and malaria I have to worry about getting the black lung.
