God, isn't it such a small world! My granddad couldn't get much work when he returned to Scotland after the war so he started thieving when he moved to London he eventually caught the attention of them when he lived in the East End, his military skills were shall we say "useful" :') xxx

It is, but hey at least we’ve got pretty cool stories and stuff to tell about our families. If I remember rightly, my great granddad and his brother had friends from London that already had connections with the Krays and it was them that pretty much dragged them into all the “trouble”. One of the guys actually lives on the same street as me now. My great granddad left London before his brother, I remember him saying it wasn’t really for him.
