We must be willing to reach down into the bowels of our soul and find the strength to help our black brothers and sisters up despite fighting to rise up ourselves. With all the injustice, misrepresentation and general inequality we face in this country it is easy to lose hope, lose faith. But family when we lift up those around us we also ascend. Think to yourself how can I cultivate and engage my community, my circle of friends, my family. It starts with you the singular voice before we can sing as a collective. In times such as these we must lean on each other for support and encouragement because who else truly understands our struggle. We are all we have. #TheUplift #BlackThought #Repost @mike_myhk #TheQuintessentialGentleman
