Hello! This is concerning Icefall Regent's "tap a creature" ETB trigger. If I use Eldrazi Displacer to blink my Regent, does the creature it tapped first stay tapped along with the post-blink creature? Or does the Icefall Regent, as a new object on the battlefield, no longer effect the first creature? Thanks for your time and have a nice day!

Once Icefall Regent leaves the battlefield, it will no longer keep the first creature tapped down since the duration of its effect has ended. This happens immediately and there’s no way to get around it with blinking shenanigans.

Physically, hands and a face that suits one’s personality. Personality, a good sense of humor, propensity for making bad puns, passion about something, and some sort of intelligence. (intelligence for me is an incredibly broad spectrum of things)

hephaestus: what's the most helpful thing you can do around the house?

I’m a reasonably skilled handy person, courtesy of my father. Can do most basic home repairs and clean things well. Can build basic, usable furniture.

ares: what's the thing that makes you angriest?

inequalities in the world. of any variety. (see: racism, sexism, etc...)

2. Would you date an 18 year-old at the age you are now?

Lately, I don’t know how I feel about the concept of me dating in general but since 18 year-olds are only a year younger than me, I don’t think being involved with one is really that odd at all. I’m pretty sure the cute girl who might be flirting with me is 18 and I don’t really find the thought of doing things with her weird.

3. Do you prefer to be friends with girls or boys?

If we’re picking between the two then it’s probably girls, as I tend to naturally open up to them more than my guy friends, although that’s really more of a shortcoming on my part. I still like all of my guy friends a lot so I would still say that it’s pretty split.

5. Can you commit to one person?

Probably? I’ve never had anything serious long-term and I’m not sure I want to but like, probably.

7. What exactly are you wearing right now?

A light grey floral sweater, a black skirt, sheer black tights, white Converse high tops, my watch, a bracelet, and a necklace with a little flower engraving on it.

11. Are you a social or antisocial person?

I’d say I’m probably social by nature but by habit I tend to be a bit more antisocial since I need to recharge a lot. That being said, I’m a lot more social than I used to be so I would say that I’m finally able to call myself a social person now.

13. Are you good at hiding your feelings?

It depends on what kind of feelings they are. If the feelings are positive then I usually can unless I’m really excited, but if they’re negative then it’s a lot harder for me to hide them.

17. When was the last time you cried?

Uh… It’s January now, so like… maybe two months ago? If we’re talking sad crying and not laughing crying, because if laughing crying counts then the last time was like two weeks ago when my friends and I were playing WWE 2K16.

19. If you could change your eye color, would you?

I think any other color of eyes would look a little odd on me, so probably not.

23. Are you nice to everyone?

I’m nice to everyone if they don’t give me personally a reason not to be nice to them. I tend to be cordial with everyone even if I don’t know them well. If someone’s given me a reason to actively dislike them then I will still probably be cordial when talking to them, but I would say I wouldn’t be actively nice to them.

29. Have your pants ever fallen down in public?

Nope! I always wear a belt when I wear pants, and when I was younger I wore sweatpants and stuff with elastic waistbands that fit me well enough.

31. Do you have someone of the opposite sex you can tell everything to?

I think that a lot of my guy friends would be open to me telling them more than I do but I have a lot harder of a time doing that. But I have a few guy friends who I do have as emotional support, though I maybe wouldn’t tell them EVERYTHING as defined by this question.

37. Do you think you’ll be married in five years?

By 24? Maybe? I don’t really think so, but given that my future’s pretty uncertain so I don’t think that I can really answer this with any kind of certainty.

41. Think back two months ago: were you in a relationship?

Nope. Kind of a thing but I wouldn’t call it a “relationship” since I feel like this question is probably referring to “relationship” as like, a “dating” kind of relationship.

47. Do you replay things that happened in your head?

All the time. Good and bad. Probably bad more than good but I do like to replay some especially happy moments in my head from time to time.

Gozer: talk about something you're good at! Well, I have a pretty good memory, such that anything, and i mean anything, that I want to learn will get committed to memory. Immensely useful for being a science major, though can be frustrating because of the sheer volume of shit i have to sort through to correctly recall it. But i have my ways - for instance, if I write it down, that gives me a physical place and also improves the memory itself. If I want to recall it, I simply read what I wrote. Example: physical chem final this semester. We get told that at least 70% will be questions from previous exams. Of 17 problems, 16 were of previous exams. I wrote down all of the solutions to the old exams (he’d given us the answer keys to them all, I just copied them), finished the final in under an hour, and got a 99% on it. Because I remembered what I had written down.

I suppose a better use of this skill would be to become a historian, since I have quite a wonderful memory of what I read as well and can pinpoint where I read something to the paragraph in a book, but my mother won’t allow it.

Saint Purrtrick: talk about someone/thing that inspires you! anyone who has the tolerance, patience, and willingness to sit through more than one of my rants about something. i’ve a habit of ranting about things that anger me to the nearest willing person, which is, unfortunately, usually sarah or aimee.

In all seriousness, anyone who has the good in them that you wonder about how they are that nice. I’m not generally the nicest of people (clearly don’t have the best of temperaments if i’m ranting often), so I admire people who are. You know, the kind of people who save earthworms from being squished as they cross the sidewalk because it’s raining out. Those kind of people.

Princess:  what do you find most beautiful in life? you know i find so many things beautiful it would be difficult to pin-point just one. i like nature and animals and genuine smiles on people, the kind that light up their faces from ear to ear. i like tops spinning and kinetic sculptures that are slowly moving and fluid motion in machines.

maybe what i find most beautiful is movement of any kind.
