It had been a couple of days since Kew had officially been accepted into the Seireitei. Kew wasn't sure how long it had been since he fell from the sky and crash-landed into this world (he'd spent a lot of time in a jail cell) but it hadn't felt like that long. For reasons even Kew wasn't sure of, one of the captains (Squad 13, he thinks) had decided to take him in. The guy gave him a closet to sleep in, and said if he can prove himself, he might even get to be an honorary squad member!

... Look, Kew wasn't sure what that actually meant. All he knew was that Cap'n Ukitake was the nicest guy ever, and Kew didn't have to worry about being executed. Pretty sure he's indebted to the guy forever though, which meant Kew was going to make himself useful, one way or another! Lucky for Kew, there was a good way to do that: Apparently, the 13 Squads had endless amounts of paperwork, that all needed to be delivered. It was a simple task, one no one wanted to do it, and it was a good excuse for Kew to officially introduce himself to the other squads! Plus, if there was any confidential information in the bundles of paperwork he got, who cares? Kew can't read anyway! What could possibly go wrong?

Getting tricked into delivering paperwork to Squad 11, that’s what. No one bothered to tell him that the barracks were full of meatheads that just wanted to fight, and it turns out fighting a demon sounds pretty badass, if you're stupid. So that's how Kew got where he is now: Running for his life from a whole gang of Squad 11 idiots.

It's also how he wound up scrambling through the Squad 6 barracks, looking for somewhere to hide. Unfortunately, he ran straight into the captain’s office instead. Dammit.

"Uh--" Shit! This ain't a good way to introduce himself, he's not even sure he's seen this captain yet! Crap! He looks pretty serious! (What're those things on his head?) "Hey-- Uh-- Hello! I'm sorry, uh--" Shit, he can hear footsteps! Would those idiots really be dumb enough to follow him in here!? Kew shuts the door behind him. "Sorry to bother ya, uh, Captain. I'm here in peace, uh-- C-can I hide in here for a sec?"

Headcanon:

Orihime keeps a recipe book of every odd and crazy creation she’s ever made, if she’s liked it. She often experiments with a lot of different foods by combining different flavors and textures.
