For the first time since the start of the pandemic, @beecee7280 and I had Sunday brunch at @dedutch! We went to the quaintly small stand-alone in North Van City, which mom had never been to - we normally went to the Burnaby one, but it closed during the pandemic, so this is now our de Dutch of choice. There, in addition to a pitcher of fresh-squeezed OJ and mandatory cup of Joe, I dug into a Windmill Pannekoek, which features smoked shaved B.C. salmon, melted edam and hollandaise. It’s their best savoury pannekoek, and something I had been craving all week! The pannekoek I love saying that!) was an A-, but I’d have to say the presentation was more of a C+ because that windmill looked like it had seen better days! Regardless, still delicious, and it was good to be back at our favourite pannekoek house!!
