Pictured over a month after it’s closing in September 4th 2017, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Dragon Challenge attraction has it’s signage striped from it’s mantle with decorations such as it’s flags & iconic golden dragon egg replica no where to be seen. Dragon Challenge opened with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade in 2010, it was a duel roller coaster themed around (as it’s name suggests) the first task of the Triwizard Tournament featured in the forth Harry Potter book & film. The coaster originally opened in 1999 as Dueling Dragons apart of The Lost Continent section in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. A new, more immersive roller coaster built from scratch based off the Forbidden Forest location featured in the films & books is being built where Dragon Challenge once stood and is expected to open before this summer begins. https://www.instagram.com/p/BshLpwfAVYH/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=1l2g9mx4oe71w
